Drivers education, special education and summer feeding programs at Caddo Schools could experience a decline in funding or be absent this upcoming school year. The programs are among those with major cuts in the school district's proposed 2016-17 budget, which the Caddo Parish School Board will vote on Tuesday. Before obtaining your Louisiana driver's license, you will need to pass both a written examination and a behind-the-wheel examination. Your driving instructor will provide you with the information you need to get one step closer to passing both examinations and earning your driver's license. Driver's Ed, whether it's a requirement or not, can benefit all drivers. *The typical work day varied, from school to school. When I was in a school where the teacher prepared the lessons for the class, the day went well. If not it was stressful. *I learned a lot being in the school system. I went back to school while working and obtained my degrees. I learned education is important. *Managing the class was successful each day, knowing psychologically all children are basely the same; respect them they will respect you, helped mostly for clear management. *Work place culture varied from place to place; one place you had help and another school you were pushed in a position. *The hardest part of the job was not being a full time teacher. *The most enjoyable part of the job was teaching students who thought they couldn't learn, how to learn and seeing them learn and become happy about learning. It's sad to say that this is considered a desirable place to work but it's only due to the benefits offered & an ideal work schedule. Otherwise it's a very stressful work environment with very poor management in numerous departments. No room for career advancement unless you fit a biased criteria rather than meeting the actual job qualifications. Employees are required to do work that aren't in their respective job descriptions without any compensation and if a rebuttal is given because of these unfair job practices then you become a target for a vindictive & hostile work environment and intentionally prevented from advancement. Many imperative HR policies are broken everyday such as confidentiality and equal employment opportunities.
